Career & Studies Awards
Outline: I have obtained the most prestigious international awards in recent years, including Alexander von Humboldt Research Award for established scientists (Award for ‘Technischen Mechanik’, one out of 40 to all scientific disciplines in 2005), similar award two years later for Slovenia (Award for Engineering Sciences, one among 8 given to all scientific disciplines in 2007) and IACM Fellow Award in 2006. In France, I have received the promotion by the National Committee of Universities (CNU) to the highest rank of University Professors, ‘Classe Exceptionnelle’, in 2009, followed by Senior Member position at Institut Universitaire de France (IUF) in 2015, Member of Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2019 Member of The Academy of Europe in 2022, and renewal of Senior Member position at Institut Universitaire de France (IUF) for 2020-25.
Other awards have been attributed to me in order to facilitate the international scientific collaborations, as well as for excellent results during my studies.
